Our new DE&S Safety Strategy sets out how we’re going to be delivery focused, safety driven – preventing all avoidable accidents and protecting the health of our colleagues. It describes how together we will create a culture that supports us in ingraining safety in our mindset, at the core of our decision making, and evident in our behaviours and attitudes.
To ensure DE&S is truly safety driven, our safety strategy is underpinned by three safety delivery goals and seven enabling goals that put safety at the forefront of our decision-making. At the core of these enabling goals is DE&S’ commitment to organisational learning, through effective knowledge management, which drives continuous improvement in the way we approach safety in delivery.
